Project “Support for small enterprises with a turnover of more than BGN 500 000 for overcoming the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic”
On 11.10.2021, “SOFEL-MR” Ltd started the implementation of project “Support for small enterprises with a turnover of more than BGN 500 000 for overcoming the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic”
The total project value is BGN 50 000, of which BGN 50 000.00 are a grant from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and BGN 0.00 – national co-financing.
The main objective of the project is the provision of operating capital for Bulgarian small enterprises that have generated a turnover of more than BGN 500 000 in 2019 for overcoming the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grant received under the procedure will provide the company with important liquidity support for purchasing the necessary quantities of the main raw materials and materials used in the production unit of the activity of “SOFEL-MR” Ltd that has been most affected by the pandemic, namely – the production of packaging for the food processing industry.
The grant received under the procedure will allow the enterprise to offer more competitive prices and all covered groups, since the subsidy will in practice optimise their real production cost.
As an indirect effect, the availability of grant aid for the activities of the enterprise for minimising the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic will be among the factors that will contribute to preserving highly qualified jobs in the enterprise. This, in turn, will also help the company in overcoming the consequences of COVID-19 on its activities and to achieve the necessary resilience until the market situation normalises and demand increases.
